Private projects (on my own accord)
This is the simplest one that I have done so far, I have had people begging me to do another one so here it is.
I got a quote by Dr. Seuss that I love, and wrote it in the blueish color, then I wrote he same thing in black to make a shadow, I positioned the black under the blueish color and, Voila! Instant shadow!
The picture I found online using my magic Google powers... ;^)

We made a goal this summer to watch ALL the Star Wars movies, in this order 4,5,6,3,2,1 (in our opinion that is the best way to do it)
I made my own Jedi using Pixlr (my good friend :)
First I got a cool picture of Padme (with her arms in a position that could be holding a lightsaber)
then the hard part finding Mace Windu's lightsaber (do you know how hard it is to find one the right size and angle? I went through 5 lightsabers before I found one!)
Erasing around the lightsaber was hard because I wanted some of the purple glow but not Mace Windu, that taught me to be careful with the eraser!
Erasing around Padme wasn't so bad (I am glad!)
I wanted Padme's ship in the background because I think that it is the best ship (non fighting ship) in the series :)
I also like the Jedi hood thingy that the Jedi wear but I didn't think that it would look good :)

Lawless
This is another book cover that inspired me too.... ( they say not to judge a book by its cover but for me that is the only reason I look at the back cover :D )
I didn't want the words in there soo.......

On the real cover the glove is darker, so, I used the burn tool to darken it and everything around it.
then instead of erasing the words (like in the last one) I just went ahead and used the spot heal tool and smear tool to cover the spots... I like the word Lawless so I left it there.... and I didn't want to ruin her hair ;D

The Valley of The Wolves
I am reading The Valley Of the Wolves for a second time! I love that book!!
I really like this picture (that is the reason that I chose that book*), but I didn't want her friend in the background.
So I wen't to my old friend Pixlr editor, and made this:
* how else do you choose a book for heavens sake! ;-)
This is the original image:
<---Here is the cover of the book ( not the words, didn't want them in the picture...). What I did was erase Kai from the image (and in the process messing up her hair), then taking the paintbrush tool I took the same color as the sky/cloak/tunic and painted over the white spots. To make the spots less noticeable I used the spot heal tool to help it blend in a bit more....
